About this Position:
Job Title: Application Support & Maintenance Lead
Minimum Skillset Required:
-
Experience with the MCE system 5 years is preferred.

5 years experience and working knowledge of clients IT Infrastructure.

Working knowledge of Accounting software and SharePoint sub-systems.
-
Expertise in C# . CORE IBM Rapid Application Developer (RAD) and IBM Websphere Application Server (WAS).
-
Experience in Java JSP Javascript and JQuery.
-
Knowledge in Apache Struts Framework and Spring Framework.
-
Knowledge in IBM Websphere 8.0.
-
Experience in designing developing and maintaining Service Oriented systems with utilize REST and SOAP technologies.
-
In depth knowledge of Oracle 11G database functionality (including Stored Procedures functions and PL/SQL).
-
Advanced knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
Responsibilities:
-
Scheduled deployments.
-
Trouble shooting diagnosis and resolution of issues that arise.
-
Daily system support to include maintenance troubleshoot data repair and debug.
-
This support is also required for the applications connected to the system described above.
-
Must be available for periodic meetings to discuss current system operations and any issues that have taken place.
-
Will receive direction from Information Systems (IS) supervisor.
-
The supervisor can delegate his authority to another employee that will give the Offeror direction.
-
Provide clear and concise verbal and written communication to IS Staff and Partners.
-
Create documentation and supporting procedures.
-
This includes but is not limited to functionality and business practices that define the system architecture of the application as well as any updates patches fixes or enhancements to the system including any connected applications.

Transfer key knowledge and educate staff in applicable areas.
-
Historically six (6) minor system improvements were performed each year.
-
An amendment to the PAQ will be issued for each project after the project scope is identified and pricing is established for the completion of the improvement.
