Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician II is a highly skilled electromechanical maintenance professional responsible for troubleshooting repairing and maintaining CNC production machinery and facility systems.
This is a senior-level hands-on role requiring strong independent troubleshooting skills across mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic and CNC systems. The technician must be comfortable diagnosing complex issues and restoring equipment uptime without direct oversight during swing shift operations.
Key Responsibilities CNC & Production Equipment Maintenance

Maintain and repair CNC mills and lathes (3 5 axis machines)

Diagnose mechanical electrical servo/drive spindle hydraulic and pneumatic issues
-
Perform alignment calibration leveling and precision adjustments
-
Support machine installs relocations rebuilds and upgrades
-
Conduct spindle run-out checks linear guide inspections and coolant system maintenance
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
-
Lead preventive maintenance programs
-
Perform lubrication oiling greasing and system inspections
-
Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore production quickly
-
Perform root-cause analysis on recurring equipment failures
-
Ensure all machines are operational before end of shift
Facility & Support Systems
Safety & Compliance

Enforce lockout/tagout procedures
-
Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
-
Maintain clean and organized work areas
-
Report unsafe conditions immediately
Required Qualifications
-
5 7 years of hands-on electromechanical maintenance experience
-
Strong CNC machine diagnostic experience (mills & lathes required)
-
Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems (480V / 220V / 110V preferred)
-
Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
-
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in aerospace or machine-shop environments
-
Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with Mitsubishi Mori-Seiki Okuma or similar CNC systems
-
Electrical certification or technical degree (AA preferred)
-
Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments
Physical & Work Environment

90% shop-floor environment
-
Ability to stand for extended periods
-
Lift up to 50 lbs
-
Work at heights (scissor lifts / boom lifts)
-
Exposure to industrial noise oils coolants and machining materials
-
Required PPE at all times
