Join us at Lantmännen Unibake a leading global bakery group driven by ambitious people who combine business focus with strong collaboration across markets. We now offer an exciting opportunity for a Global Category Director for our sweets category to join our team at our headquarters in Copenhagen Denmark.
This is a highly international leadership role where you will own the end-to-end global category agenda. Shaping strategy driving innovation and translating insights into execution across markets.
This is what youll do
You will define and execute the global category strategy for sweets lead innovation and portfolio decisions and work closely with International Sales S&OP and local markets to drive profitable and sustainable growth. As a member of the UBI Commercial Leadership Team you will also help shape the broader commercial direction of Unibake.
Primary areas of responsibility
- Define and execute the global category strategy identifying longterm initiatives to drive profitable growth and shape the Unibake footprint (BuildBorrowBuy)
- Translate category strategy into focused execution through annual planning with prioritized markets and highvalue initiatives
- Lead the global innovation agenda owning crosscountry innovation projects driven by consumer and customer insights
- Align CAPEX investments with category strategy and market opportunities supporting strong business cases
- Drive profitable growth in close collaboration with International Sales and the S&OP team ensuring optimal global S&OP sourcing and portfolio management
- Embed Unibakes global sustainability strategy by developing and following up on Health and Climate plans for the category
- Monitor category and product performance drive insights and lead corrective actions together with local markets
- Strengthen a One Unibake culture by sharing best practices tools and ways of working across markets
- Lead and develop the team
