Job Title: HVAC Engineer II
Location: Akron OH USA
Schedule: Full-Time Onsite
Salary: $80000 $95000 annually
A leading industrial engineering organization is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer II to join their growing team. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in complex industrial environments such as chemical plants manufacturing facilities and large-scale production sites with a focus on designing efficient reliable HVAC solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Design HVAC systems for industrial and process environments

Support project teams with calculations equipment selection and system layouts

Review and interpret engineering drawings specifications and project requirements

Collaborate with internal teams clients and external consultants

Provide technical guidance during design installation and commissioning phases

Support projects involving ventilation temperature control and air filtration
-
Ensure designs comply with HVAC codes standards and industrial best practices
Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering

5 years of HVAC engineering and design experience in industrial environments (chemical manufacturing etc.)

Hands-on experience with industrial HVAC systems including ventilation and temperature control

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:

Consulting engineering experience

Experience with plumbing dust collection and fire protection systems
