Job Summary
Integration Programmer (Permanent) Western Cape/Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Integration Programmer to design develop and support enterprise integration solutions that enable seamless data exchange across core business systems. This role is ideal for a technically strong developer who enjoys working across systems improving interoperability and supporting mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement technical integration solutions across enterprise systems
- Develop and enhance integration components and services
- Perform system and integration testing to ensure reliability and performance
- Maintain and support existing integration platforms and services
- Troubleshoot issues debug code and implement improvements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and ICT teams to ensure integration alignment
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or formal certification in ICT Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in messaging integration analysis and system design
- Experience working with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and SOA architecture
- Strong development experience in C# environments
- Experience with web services and integration protocols
Advantageous Skills
- Experience with InterSystems IRIS technology
- Knowledge of healthcare information systems
- Understanding of HL7 and FHIR messaging protocols
- Experience with integration modelling and process specification
Technical Knowledge
- Messaging frameworks and integration patterns
- Communication protocols such as HTTP/S SOAP REST XML JSON FTP/SFTP
- Data structures and transfer mechanisms
- Development standards best practices and system development lifecycle
