An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Procurement Operations Lead to design build and embed a centralized procurement function within a leading organization. This role will drive the transformation from a fragmented procurement environment to a unified best-in-class operating model establishing structure governance and momentum across the business.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Bachelors or postgraduate degree in Business Supply Chain Management or related field

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in procurement or supply chain leadership
• Proven experience in transforming or centralizing procurement functions
• Strong knowledge of Source-to-Pay (S2P) governance and compliance frameworks
• Experience in strategic sourcing supplier management and cost optimization
• Exposure to transformation initiatives and system implementations
• Strong analytical commercial and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated leadership and team development experience

Advantageous

• Professional certifications such as CIPS CPSM PMP/PRINCE2 or Lean Six Sigma

• Establish and implement a centralized procurement operating model
• Lead transformation from decentralized procurement structures
• Define governance processes systems and controls aligned to global standards
• Drive key initiatives including system implementations and operational excellence programs

• Deliver sustainable cost savings through strategic sourcing and supplier optimization
• Improve supplier performance quality and reliability
• Ensure compliance audit readiness and process discipline across Source-to-Pay (S2P)
• Enhance procurement maturity across the organization

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Represent procurement internally and externally with key stakeholders
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Engage in global procurement forums and performance reviews
• Collaborate with shared services on transactional procurement activities

Leadership & Capability Building

• Build and lead a high-performing procurement team
• Drive talent development succession planning and capability building
• Foster a culture of performance engagement and continuous learning
