DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
The Integrated Business planning Senior Manager is responsible for developing a successful and winning sales strategies based on information under their scope of responsibility such as sales forecasts inventory industry trends and market intelligence and in complete alignment with Sales leaders. By managing business activities and processes the SOM helps the sales organization run effectively efficiently and in support of business strategies and objectives. As one of the main purposes of this position is to develop sales operations policies and procedures that enables to make the sales process easy for both salespeople and supporting areas and enable the growth of the business identifying and across Latin America addition the Sales Operations Manager can ensure the sales team has the tools they need to succeed by evaluating usage and capability of the tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The IBP team brings together and expands our existing Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) and Demand Planning groups to enhance our ability to:
- Develop a successful and winning sales strategies taking into consideration all the input form the Data Analitics team in terms of sales forecasting and key performance data both internal and external.
- Provide clear reliable capacity commitments grounded in factory and supply chain realities.
- Ensure that the Business analytics team monitors and reports accurately sales team performance in a timely manner and in high quality way with detail information per segment or channels.
- Identifying customers and sales opportunities by analyzing sales data and consumer trends.
- Design the strategy that enables the business growth according to external industry trends macroeconomic factors Vertiv portfolio ofering historic sales data and Global guidelines.
- Identify key market opportunities for specifics Go to Market.
- Strengthen alignment across New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) and the Change Order/Commercialization Change Order (CO/CCO) process so new products and configuration changes match demand and execution capacity.
- Work alongside the Sales leadership level in order to provide key information for decision-making and sales strategy definitions.
- Contributes to the strategic discussion around customers partners target markets etc. Recommends sales
methodologies that the organization should consider and employ.
- Provides direction and leadership to the teams under scope of responsibility. Establishes and communicates goals and objectives for the teams that are in line with the corporate guidelines.
- Define long-term planning strategies and tools for the Americas creating an integrated data-driven planning ecosystem that supports our growth trajectory.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering economics finance marketing preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- MBA degre
- Advanced English level.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the industry in sales operations sales or marketing areas
- Leadership experience.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build diverse relationships internally and externally.
- Analytical skills to understand the impact of market and competitive changes as they affect a product portfolio and determines a successful course of action.
- Proficiency with financial modeling and analysis of product programs.
