Pay - 110K -120K
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support the implementation of new manufacturing and welding programs ensuring successful execution from initial planning through program launch

Monitor and follow up on new program activities to ensure quality productivity and equipment efficiency targets are achieved

Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including reports charts and records required for projects and compliance
-
Develop investment cost justifications and support capital expenditure planning for new equipment and processes
-
Support the implementation of engineering changes quality improvements productivity enhancements and cost reduction initiatives
-
Establish and improve engineering methods standards and procedures to support operational excellence
-
Provide technical leadership by mentoring coaching and guiding the engineering team
-
Participate in recruitment activities including interviewing and selection of engineering personnel as required
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment with 5 years in an engineering role considered an asset

Strong knowledge of welding and manufacturing processes with experience supporting quality productivity and efficiency improvements
-
Experience with robotic welding integration optimization and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment (asset)

Strong communication problem-solving and team leadership skills
