1st Shift - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM OT hours if requested - between 5-8 hours
Your Responsibilities
As an OFP Assembly ME for client Davenport Works located in Davenport IA supporting the Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) assembly line you will:
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety quality delivery and cost
Lead and manage small to moderate scope capital projects
Establish and maintain layouts labor standards methods and sequence of events for assembly operations
Analyze develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies
Provide support and troubleshooting for current assembly operations
What Skills You Need
3 or more years of experience with manufacturing processes quality tooling preventative maintenance and facilities
Experience with engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems
Experience leading and implementing projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills with operators peers and leadership
Self-motivated and able to execute with minimal supervision
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelors degree in engineering/technology discipline or equivalent related work experience
(Industrial Mechanical Manufacturing Electrical engineering preferred)
Strong personal accountability follow-through and ability to foster a positive engaged team environment
Identify and implement cost reduction quality safety and ergonomic improvement ideas for Articulated Dump Truck assembly operations
