Saratoga Medical is looking to hire a Staff Development and Training Lead to work nursing/memory care facilities across Massachusetts. Package will include a competitive rate paid time off and benefit options. This is NOT a travel position but does require driving responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) gerontology education instructional design psychology social work or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) Certified Alzheimers Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT) or equivalent dementia-focused credentials.
- 3-5 years of experience in dementia care long-term care or healthcare education/training.
- Experience in curriculum development instructional design or adult education (e.g. creating e-learning workshops or certification programs).
Key Responsibilities
- Research and stay current on the latest evidence-based practices guidelines and research in dementia care.
- Design and develop engaging training curricula including online modules in-person workshops train-the-trainer programs interactive scenarios case studies videos quizzes and assessments.
- Create comprehensive training materials such as facilitator guides participant handbooks slide decks job aids and e-learning content.
- Develop resources for ongoing staff education such as refresher courses quick-reference tools or annual in-service updates.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations certification standards (e.g. from organizations like NCCDP or Alzheimers Association) and continuing education requirements.
