The Mission

Financial Markets (FM) is the Banks gateway tothe professionalmarkets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of INGs clients with productsservicesand guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets with anadditionalpresence in all the major international markets and specialistexpertisein selected emerging markets and products.

Within FM in Competitive Pricing area we have ING Pricing Architecture (IPA) platform which consists of multiple components that enable real-time and batch calculations offinancial risk metricsandsimulations(e.g.XVAPFE Value at RiskExpected ShortfallBilateral Marginingpre-dealderivativesPricing) which are driven by new banking regulations as well as advanced Risk analysis on the derivative product portfolio of Financial Markets (interest rates credits foreign exchange). This platform is in the heart of the IT landscape for our global dealing rooms and risk managers in AsiaEuropeand Americas withaprox. 30 scrum teams spread across 4 locations (Amsterdam BrusselsBucharestand Singapore) cooperating to evolve it towards target ING Financial Markets IT vision.

The Competitive Pricing Area part of the FM> Tribe seeks an enthusiastic Functional Operation Engineer with a solid operations and techno-functional background in the Financial Markets domain.

Yourday to day

Even ifyoullstart your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in ourofficesgarden your day will be quite similarwhencomes to tasks. You will work closely with your business users and other squads to provideend to endsupporttovarious customer journeys.Your responsabilities will include:

• Performing incident and problem management activities including root cause analysis todeterminethe actualfailurecause and implement structural fixes. You communicate directly with users (Traders Credit/Market Risk Managers) on this from Amsterdam London BrusselsNew Yorkand Singapore

• Providinglevel-2support in deploying and running an application/stack in production. Willingness to work occasionally on weekends to support planned system changes and migration activities ensuring minimal impact on business operations

• Finding opportunities to automate the testing of existing featuresperformanceand security as well as the automation of deployments monitoring and more. This is a key responsibility of the Operations Engineers

• Performing data improvement by (re)configuring new and existing productsreportsand processes in general.

• Understanding the entirestackstechnology on which the application runs and how it fits in the overall chain.

• Build enhance and maintain tooling and scripts to automate repetitive or error prone tasks using the correct Event Alerts

• Performing Functional testing and Change Management activities in order to ensure the safe deliveries from Test to Acceptance and to Production environment

• Offering functional incident management on a front office pricing application used within the Financial Markets domain worldwide.

• Supporting end users in using the application; enriching the back-end databases with new productsreportsand scheduled tasks.

Whatyoullbring to the team

Education: Completed education at Bachelor/Master level

Experience:3 years background in Financial Markets and/or Treasury

Skills/knowledgeof the following concepts/ technologies:

• Experience in Financial Markets and/or Treasury (interest rate and FX derivates valuation market risk modelling - for ex. Greeks andVaR);

• Familiarity with Market Data Derived Market Data and Credit products;

• Experience in Risk Management is a plus;

• Familiar with the Financial Markets regulation is a plus;

• Experienceworking in Agile/Scrum;

• Experience with stakeholder management; managing FM stakeholders is a plus;

• Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges andidentifytechnical and business changesrequiredto address them is a plus;

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across different softwaredevelopmentandthe businessteams;

• Experience with product and service management and processes.

Tech stack:

• Proficient in creating and validating SQL queries (Oracle SQL) to support business analysis data validation and report generation;

• Knowledge of CI/CD Azure DevOps;

• Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow Confluence.

Foreign languages: English (excellent level)
