SUMMER ADVENTURE CAMP - ACTIVITY SPECIALIST
Spend your summer in a fun rewarding way by working with elementary school aged youth in ourCamp Fire Alaska Summer Adventure Camp! This day camp program operates Monday Friday in five school & community center locations throughout Anchorage and Eagle River.
Activity Specialist
Pay: Starting at $20.53/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Summer Camp Dates: May 26 2026 - August 7 2026
Activity Specialists are responsible for creating innovative programming for youth through planning and facilitating specialized activities and programming that further learning promote the development of new skills increase social engagement and involve youth in fun creative activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Age Requirement: Eighteen (18) years old
- Minimum one year experience facilitating activities in a small group setting such as a youth development education or recreation program
- Ability to transport self to work and to the Camp Fire office for trainings.
- Current Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/ First Aid Certification from a nationally recognized provider*American Red Cross preferred
