Job Summary

Position Summary
Rue Insurances AssistantAccount Managerisresponsibleforclient account servicing and insurance renewal tasks to support theAccount of work must exemplify the best-in-class service standards established by Rue Insurance at all times.A primaryobjectiveof this role is to effectively support new and existing medium andlarge sizecommercial client accounts. The Assistant Account Manager is an integral part of theclientonboarding and renewal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • AssistAccount Managerswithoverall servicing of client accounts:

    • request and compile pre-renewal client data
    • request insurer loss runs
    • create draft proposals and summaries of insurance
    • invoice transactions andassistwith billing reconciliations
    • review policies for accuracy and request and process changes as necessary
    • process mid-term policy change requests for client exposure changes
    • assistwith quoting and placing ancillary coverages a
    • assistwith audit processing
    • review and respond to basic client lease and contract requirements
    • issue proofs of insurance and other client forms
    • update andmaintainApplied Epic client account and application detail
    • create andtransmitclient correspondence and related documentation
  • Processclient policy renewals and remarketing
  • Onboardnew clients
  • Follow up on outstanding items including but not limited to policy change requests cancellations and reinstatements and overdue premium payments; update agency management system accordingly; and communicate any concerns to Account Manager
  • Perform assigned responsibilitiesin accordance withagency-established client service standards
  • Follow all agency processes and procedures including but not limited to Epic Workflows documentation and paper and electronic record maintenance and retention guidelines
  • Ensure all work product istimelyandaccurate
  • Provide in-house customer service to producers and other agency departments as requested
  • Evaluate and answer client coverage questions and other client inquiries
  • Handle telephone electronic and in-person communication with clients insurers Rue personnel and third parties in an empathetic and professional manner
  • Attend andparticipatein department and company meetings as requested

Salary:$55000 - $75000 Annually

RequiredQualifications

  • Active New JerseyProperty & CasualtyInsurance License
  • Functional and technical knowledge commercial lines core coverages
  • At least 1yearofcommercial lines insurance experience at agency or insurance company
  • Strong customer service mindset and skills
  • Strong writtenverbaland interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability tooperatein a time-sensitive environment with a sense of urgency whenrequired
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with others as a team as well as to work well independently and accept accountability
  • Ability to be flexible and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office
  • Proficiencywithagency managementsoftware

PreferredQualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Construction and/or specialtyinsurancecoverages knowledge
  • Experience with AppliedSystemsEpicsoftware
