Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst Insurance SaaS Permanent full time Sydney Hybrid $145k super
Were looking for aSenior Business Analystto play a key role in delivering customer solutions across a modern insurance technology environment.
This is a hands-on high-impact role for someone who loves the craft of business analysis discovery requirements functional design stakeholder alignment and who wants to work closely with customers and delivery teams to bring complex solutions to life.

What youll be doing
As a Senior Business Analyst youll take ownership of end-to-end analysis across customer engagements including:
- Leading discovery and requirements workshops with customerstakeholders
- Translating business needs intoclear testable traceable requirements
- Producing functional documentation and process models to guide delivery
- Working closely with delivery engineering product and QA teams to ensure shared understanding
- Supporting backlog refinement sprint planning and solution walkthroughs
- Validating solutions through functional testing UAT support and early feedback cycles
- Building trusted customer relationships through clear communication and strong delivery leadership
- Helping strengthen BA best practice templates and ways of working across the team

Essential experience
- 7 years experience as a Business Analyst ideally in insurance or a similar domain
- General and/or commercial insurance knowledge
- Ideally experience in customer facing roles
- Strong background delivering solutions end-to-end across multiple projects
- Agile delivery (user stories backlog refinement sprint planning)
- Experience supporting solution validation through functional testing and UAT
Nice to have
- Exposure to integrations reporting automation or data flows in insurance
- BA certifications (CBAP PMI-PBA) or Agile certifications (Scrum Master)
