Senior Data Engineer (GCP dbt and Airflow) AI and Data Technology Consulting

The Opportunity

As our Senior Data Engineer youll design build and operate modern data platforms using GCP dbt and Airflow augmented with the power of AI assisted engineering and generative AI. Youll work on scalable architectures pipelines and governance frameworks applying AI enhanced workflows to accelerate delivery improve quality and streamline engineering processes.

This role blends contemporary AI supported engineering practices with strong data engineering fundamentals to deliver enterpriseready cloud data solutions.

Your key responsibilities

Were looking for a Senior Data Engineer who brings both deep technical capability and a forwardthinking mindset. Youll combine strong engineering fundamentals with a practical understanding of how AI enhanced tooling can transform the way modern data platforms are built and operated. You should feel confident navigating complex cloud environments shaping robust data solutions and contributing to a culture of technical excellence.

Skills and attributes for success

Strong knowledge of data modelling concepts modern data architecture patternsand data lifecycle management
Hands on experience with GCP BigQuerydbt and Airflow
Proficiency in SQLPython and orchestration frameworks
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI assistants for engineering tasks such as code generation data modelling testingdocumentation and pipeline optimisation
Familiarity with data governance data quality and security best practices
Experience developing scalableproduction grade data solutions
