Hasbro Childrens Hospital offers a broad spectrum of both routine care and specialty programs not available elsewhere. Hasbro Childrens has the only pediatric emergency department Level 1 trauma center pediatric critical care teams and 24-hour ambulance in the region. About the Job:
- Treat adolescents in a 16-bed inpatient unit
- Care primarily for patients with co-existing medical and psychiatric disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams developing behavior plans and provide individual family and group therapy
- Multidisciplinary team is comprised of pediatricians child psychiatrists psychologists an advanced practice psychiatric nurse social workers pediatric nurses mental health workers and nutritionists
- Opportunity to teach and provide supervision
- Collaborative research opportunities
About You:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Child Psychology
- Licensed or license-eligible in Rhode Island
- Desire to work in a team-based care model
- Experience working in an inpatient setting
- Bring a passion for helping youth with medical and psychiatric issues
- Good sense of humor and a roll-up your sleeves mentality
