As a Locum Pediatrician you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients conducting assessments and developing treatment plans. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of care and ensuring patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to pediatric patients
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families about health management and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in on-call duties as required
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current state medical license and board certification in Pediatrics
- Previous experience in a pediatric setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Level II Trauma
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
No call requirement
Annual Volume: 50k patients
Must have the capability to see inpatient pediatric patients and adult patients in the same setting
Support Staff: APPs
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
