Job Summary

On behalf of one of its clients the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Part time HR Generalist.


Our client is an international company operating in public health and safety. Through a global network present in more than 30 countries the group provides testing services and innovative solutions aimed at reducing health risks related to food the environment and consumer products. The company has experienced strong growth in recent years notably through strategic acquisitions and continues to expand in high-potential markets.

They are currently looking for an HR Generalist to work closely with the Regional HR & Communication Director for the Asia-Pacific region. The role involves supporting HR operations in Singapore ensuring compliance with local regulations and contributing to administrative recruitment and training activities within a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

As HR Generalist you will be responsible for the full HR spectrum including:
1. Recruitment & Talent Development
  • Manage the entire recruitment process from job posting to final hiring decision
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and follow up with candidates
  • Develop relationships with schools and manage internship programs
2. Onboarding & Employee Experience
  • Handle employment offers contracts and work pass processes when required
  • Coordinate pre-employment formalities and system access (IT HRIS payroll)
  • Lead Day 1 onboarding sessions (safety policies company guidelines)
  • Support and follow up with new employees during their probation period
3. HR Administration & Compliance
  • Maintain and update employee records (contracts renewals personal updates renewal of passes etc.)
  • Prepare monthly HR reports and key metrics
  • Manage employee benefits (insurance and other perks)
  • Update and maintain the employee handbook
4. Payroll & Compensation
  • Prepare variable payroll elements and review draft payroll reports
  • Monitor leave balances sick leave and attendance records
  • Act as the main contact for payroll-related questions
5. Training & Development
  • Follow up on training needs identified during annual reviews
  • Coordinate with external training providers or certification bodies when necessary
  • Monitor training budgets and related subsidies


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management Human Resources or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR with solid knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
  • High level of professionalism integrity and confidentiality
This role offers strong growth potential with opportunities to contribute to regional HR initiatives across Southeast Asia (employer branding HR reporting process improvement automation etc.).

Schedule: 3 to 4 days per week (Tuesday to Thursday office-based).
