Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees or clients via phone email chat or in person
  • Install configure and maintain hardware (computers printers mobile devices)
  • Troubleshoot software network and system issues
  • Set up and manage user accounts permissions and passwords
  • Maintain and update IT documentation and asset inventory
  • Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff
  • Support cybersecurity practices (antivirus updates data protection)
  • Assist with system upgrades backups and disaster recovery procedures


Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in IT support or help desk roles
  • Knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS routers switches)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
