Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to employees or clients via phone email chat or in person
- Install configure and maintain hardware (computers printers mobile devices)
- Troubleshoot software network and system issues
- Set up and manage user accounts permissions and passwords
- Maintain and update IT documentation and asset inventory
- Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff
- Support cybersecurity practices (antivirus updates data protection)
- Assist with system upgrades backups and disaster recovery procedures
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in IT support or help desk roles
- Knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS routers switches)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
