Provides direction along with managerial and technical support for the TUHS computing environment in accordance with system life cycle methodology and current industry standards. Participates in the selection development monitoring maintenance and enhancement of technology for the Health System. Participates in the development of standards and identifying and correcting problems. Seeks opportunities for improvement and proposes change. Ensures compliance with IT best practices and with federal state and local regulations. Monitors appropriate/proper use of system(s) in accordance with documented procedures. Maintains production stability backup and recovery installation and upgrades. Develops documentation and maintain materials where appropriate. Has contact with and works with many levels of management clinical and professional staff from the Health System. Manages vendor relationships for supported systems. Promotes inclusion of customers in the design implementation and use of technology. Directs and manages a technical team with diverse skill set and provides 24x7 on-call support for areas of responsibility.
This role requires three days on-site (Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday) at Temple Health Womens and Families Hospital.
Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer or Information Sciences Required or
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
Experience
1 year experience working in a healthcare/ hospital environment Required
3 years experience in a managerial responsibility role Required
5 years experience with IS project management business analysis and planning. Required
5 years experience with Windows server operating systems Required
5 years experience with systems administration architecting developing and designing
complex systems. Required
Licenses
Microsoft Cert IT Professional Preferred
