Job Summary

Hunt Meadows Elementary School Principal

Qualifications:

Valid S.C. Elementary Principal certification must be submitted
At least 3 years assistant principal experience required
At least3 years teaching early childhood or elementary level experience required
Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and an in depth understanding of early literacy and effective instructional practices at the elementary level
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead and supportthe PLC process
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to deal with complex issues
Ability to articulate high performance expectations to others and the ability to utilize assessment data for school change and improvement
Ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals and groups from a wide variety of educational and cultural backgrounds and to create and sustain a school culture that promotes student growth and achievement while sustaining a healthy and positive morale among educational professionals
Ability to manage and supervise systems processes and personnel
Proficiency in utilizing instructional technology
