We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to support an IT Services company in delivering AI-driven automation solutions to client organisations.

This role involves working directly with CTOs and CIOs to identify opportunities for AI-enabled process optimisation designing practical solutions and implementing scalable AI processes that deliver measurable impact.

The Role

You will:

Collaborate with client CTOs/CIOs to scope AI automation initiatives
Design prototype and deploy AI-powered workflow solutions
Translate business challenges into structured AI processes
Implement generative AI machine learning and automation tools
Support documentation and handover of solutions

Requirements

25 years experience in AI machine learning or automation engineering
Strong Python skills and experience with modern AI frameworks
Experience building production-ready AI workflows
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable operating in a client-facing consulting environment

This is a contract position offering R500R650 per hour depending on experience and capability.
