Were looking for a hands on Privacy & Data Protection Manager to help drive our global privacy programme and ensure we continue to operate with integrity transparency and trust. Youll work shouldertoshoulder with exceptional colleagues across Legal InfoSec IT People Commercial and Operations shaping how personal data is governed protected and used across our global footprint.
This is a role where your expertise will be valued your voice will be heard and your work will directly influence how our organisation grows responsibly and sustainably.
Youll be at the forefront of developing and enhancing privacybydesign practices across a global business that is genuinely committed to doing the right thing.
Your work will span multiple regions and jurisdictionsgiving you exposure to complex privacy challenges and the opportunity to build a truly international skill set.
We believe privacy is a team sport. Youll partner with teams across the organisation enabling innovation while ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance.
From access to certification pathways (CIPP/E CIPM CIPT) to exposure to strategic enterpriselevel projectsincluding M&Ayoull be supported to develop into a senior privacy leader.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days in our Birmingham office - Monday Tuesday & Wednesday
How will you make an impact
Youll play a key role in developing and maintaining our global data protection framework. Your responsibilities will include:
Governance & Records Management
- Overseeing global Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)
- Supporting data mapping across systems tools and regions
Policies Standards & Training
- Maintaining global privacy policies and playbooks
- Creating practical guidance and supporting operational adherence
- Delivering engaging privacy training across teams
Embedding Privacy-by-Design
- Leading and advising on DPIAs supplier assessments and risk mitigation
- Ensuring privacy is built into new products tools and processes
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Preparing executivelevel privacy risk reporting
- Supporting audits uplift programmes and M&A activities
Incident Response
- Supporting investigations rootcause analysis and remediation
- Maintaining privacy risk registers and followup actions
What You will Bring
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in privacy data protection legal or compliance within a global environment
- Strong working knowledge of GDPR/UK GDPR at least one nonEU regime
- Hands-on experience with DPIAs RoPA data mapping and drafting privacy documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide pragmatic businessaligned advice
Nice to have
- CIPP/E CIPP/US CIPM CIPT or similar
- Experience with privacy tools (OneTrust TrustArc LogicGate etc.)
- Experience in breach response or regulatory interactions
