Generative AI Application Developer - .NET

EYs GDS Tax Technology teams mission is to develop implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EYs core Tax practice youll develop deep technical expertise and strong application development skills focused on Generative AIpowered solutions.

Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather organize and analyze more data than ever before. Generative AI is enabling new ways to transform how this data is processed interpreted and delivered. EYs GDS Tax Technology team works side-by-side with partners clients and tax technical subject matter experts to build scalable secure and reliable AI-enabled platforms that drive measurable business value.

GDS Tax Technology provides solution architecture application development testing and maintenance support to the global Tax service line across multiple domains.

EY is currently seeking a Generative AI Application Developer (.NET) to join our Tax Technology practice

The opportunity

Were looking for Tax Seniors with 68 years of experience application development and Generative AI technologies to join the TTT team in Tax Service Line. The role requires a strong balance of hands-on development and technical oversight contributing to the evolution of GenAI frameworks and domain-specific implementations within enterprise environments.

Your key responsibilities

Provide technical oversight for the evolution of the Generative AI framework and domain-specific AI implementations.
Ensure scalability security performance and reliability of AI-powered solutions.
Establish best practices for prompt engineering LLM cost optimization and caching strategies.
Design develop and implement Generative AIenabled applications APIs AI agents and interfaces using ecosystem.
Guide integration with enterprise GenAI platforms including Azure AI Foundry Azure OpenAI and GitHub Models.
Estimate technical efforts and collaborate with stakeholders.

Skills and attributes for success

Must-Have:

Strong experience (C# Core Blazor).
Strong understanding of Generative AI and LLM technologies.
Experience with AI agent frameworks and orchestration.
Hands-on knowledge of ClosedXML Roslyn .
Strong Azure cloud experience.

Nice-to-Have:

Vector databases and RAG exposure.
Azure AI Search M365 Copilot Studio.
Azure AI certifications.

Behavioural Skills:

Excellent learning ability.
Strong communication skill.
Flexibility to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
The ability to adapt your work style to work with both internal and client team members.

To qualify for the role:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
68 years of relevant experience.
