- Completion of a two (2) year Community College Diploma in Law Enforcement and a minimum of four (4) years experience within a Police or Court environment including two (2) years experience in the receipt disposition and storage of police exhibits.
- Experience using Microsoft Windows Excel Access Outlook and other applicable software.
- Basic knowledge of modern digital media formats especially as it relates to video file extensions and players.
- Knowledge and ability to competently perform all the noted major responsibilities.

- Taking in categorization location protection care and disposition of court relevant exhibits and property.
- Operating in high security areas members in this position are responsible for ensuring accountability accuracy security and safe handling of all exhibits submitted as evidence to the Property & Exhibit Unit.
- Review and/or copy a variety of audio and video data to prepare data for Crown/Court/disclosure purposes which requires strict adherence to policies and procedures as well as the efficient entry and removal of data from various databases.
