Get to Know the Role
Youll primarily own regional E-commerce marketing. But you wont be boxed into a single lane. As the ecosystem evolves youll step into adjacent bets new launches and high-impact projects when needed.
If you enjoy building before the guide exists and turning messy ideas into scalable systems youll feel right at home.
You will report to the Regional Lead for Regional Brand and Partnerships in Singapore and work onsite at our Petaling Jaya office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
1. E-commerce Campaign Strategy Planning & Orchestration
- Develop annual and half-year marketing roadmaps across E-commerce verticals
- Lead regional campaign platforms for major commerce moments (e.g. 9.9 11.11 Ramadan CNY and Payday cycles)
- Translate business priorities into clear narratives campaign frameworks and execution plans
- Balance short-term GMV growth with long-term brand and ecosystem equity
- Partner with country marketing teams to localise and improve within market realities
2. Regional Toolkits and Strategies
- Build scalable campaign toolkits visual systems and messaging frameworks
- Codify best practices into strategies countries can deploy quickly
- Create modular assets that create both consistency and flexibility
- Establish repeatable GTM systems across multi-product multi-country launches
3. Country & Cross-functional Leadership
- Be a regional glue across Marketing Performance Product Commercial Ops and Creative
- Pressure-test strategies with Performance Marketing using funnel data
- Partner with Product Marketing to align feature releases with demand generation
- Ensure end-to-end execution from strategy through in-app visibility and paid media
4. Beyond the Job Title
- Support new category launches and experimental growth mechanics
- Help unblock high-stakes projects that need a operator-thinker
- Test new campaign mechanics activation formats and automation tools
- Build while running not waiting for perfect clarity

- E-commerce marketing plans are cohesive purposeful and scalable providing clear support and empowerment to country teams.
- Product Performance and Brand teams recognize you as a strategic partner with campaigns aligning to achieve business outcomes such as GMV frequency retention and AOV.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
Experience
- Minimum 7 years in Marketing at least 2 years in digital-native or app-based industries such as e-commerce gaming OTT or marketplaces.
- Experience managing or contributing to GMV targets and commercial outcomes.
- Experience track record in developing 612 month marketing calendars and accomplishing multi-product multi-country go-to-market strategies.
- Good to have experience coordinating across regions or multiple countries.
Commercial & Analytical Fluency
- Experience with core e-commerce metrics like GMV AOV CVR LTV CAC ROAS and cohort retention.
- Proficient in app analytics tools such as AppsFlyer Adjust Firebase Google Analytics Mixpanel and Amplitude.
- Knowledgeable in media and performance platforms like Meta Ads Manager Google Ads TikTok Ads Shopee Ads and Lazada Sponsored Solutions.
- Experience with CRM and lifecycle marketing tools including Salesforce Braze MoEngage and CleverTap.
- Familiarity with martech and automation ecosystems including CDPs dynamic ads automated bidding strategies and programmatic buying.
E-commerce SEA Activation Familiarity
- Practical experience with regional commerce strategies and growth activations including events like double-digit sale days and Mega Brand Days and flash sales platform vouchers and livestream commerce. Additionally familiarity with KOL/affiliate programs in-app gamification and adapting to local seasonal peaks is important.
- Understanding of how these mechanics influence conversion frequency and merchant economics.
AI & Modern Tool Fluency
- Proficient in using generative AI and automation tools integrating them into daily marketing workflows.
- Experience with tools like ChatGPT for high-level planning and content generation Gemini and NotebookLM for research and knowledge building and Midjourney/Canva for creative prototyping.
- Familiar with programmatic SEO frameworks and automated CRM flows on platforms like Braze MoEngage and Salesforce.
- Experience with AI-assisted dynamic creative optimization and automated bidding as well as rapid product and landing page prototyping using tools like Cursor.
