Job Summary
Oversee and manage the accounting activities ensuring adherence to deadlines quality standards and the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
Job Description
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable general ledger entries bank reconciliations and expense tracking.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records receipts and documentation for all transactions.
- Coordinate and supervise the monthly quarterly and annual accounting closing processes guaranteeing their timely and accurate execution.
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP/IFRS) ensuring their accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Record activities between international subsidiaries for month-end balance balancing.
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Recommend improvements to accounting workflows tools and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Help implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial discrepancies.
- Identify operational issues escalate them appropriately and work with various teams to clear outstanding balances on the balance sheet.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal audit and lead the external audit facilitating the information and documentation required for the review processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external accounting inquiries supporting the companys financial and strategic decision-making.
