Job Summary
Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager the Cardiology Technician will work closely with the cardiologists and staff.
Accountabilities:
- Day-to-day performance of cardiac diagnostics testing
Qualifications :
- Graduate of a recognized cardiology technician program
- Current registration with Cardiology Technologists Association of Ontario/Canadian Association of Cardiology Technologists required
- Recent experience in all diagnostic cardiology modalities (holter monitoring and scanning event recording stress testing ECG and ambulatory blood pressure)
- Fluent in English (reading writing speaking and comprehension)
- Working knowledge of the Meditech information system (ancillary application is preferred)
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
- Excellent attendance punctuality and work record
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
- Demonstrated organizational critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-focused care required
- Highly motivated self-directed responsible and accountable individual required
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education
- May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites
- Must demonstrate Oslers Values of Respect Excellence Service Compassion Innovation and Collaboration
Additional Information :
Hours: Currently Days 8 and 12 hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
SALARY:
Minimum: $37.28 per hour
Maximum: $45.23 per hour
