Job Summary
You will play a key role in designing implementing managing and optimizing enterprise databases both onpremise and in the cloud. As a Senior System Administrator you will ensure high levels of data integrity security and availability for missioncritical systems. You will also lead major migration initiatives improve database performance and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver robust and scalable database solutions.
- Design implement and maintain SQL databases in onpremise and cloud environments
- Administer and optimize SSRS SSIS and SSAS
- Manage and support Amazon Aurora MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Monitor and tune database performance; diagnose and resolve bottlenecks
- Ensure database security and regulatory compliance
- Lead and execute migrations from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2022
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell
- Work closely with development infrastructure and security teams
Qualifications :
MustHave Requirements
- Extensive experience with SQL databases (onprem and cloud)
- Strong proficiency in SSRS SSIS SSAS
- Handson experience with Amazon Aurora MySQL PostgreSQL
- Proven background in database performance tuning
- Strong understanding of database security and compliance
- Demonstrated experience migrating SQL Server
- Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell
NicetoHave
- Experience with enterprise backup/recovery tools (preferably Cohesity)
- Knowledge of Terraform Ansible Python
- Familiarity with MongoDB or modern NoSQL solutions
- Experience with data integration tools preferably Qlik
