About the Role
This role manages and improves the reconciliation and accounting control environment across Finance Services. You will strengthen governance embed automation and use analytics to improve accuracy assurance and efficiency. As a people leader you will develop capability support change and contribute to a strong financial control culture.
What Youll Do
- Lead reconciliation and accounting control processes ensuring balances are accurate timely well governed and aligned to policy and risk frameworks.
- Support the transition of reconciliations into Oracle ARCS using system capability to reduce manual effort and improve issue resolution
- Partner with data owners Technology and Finance teams to resolve source system issues and strengthen end-to-end data quality
- Deliver analytics and assurance activities that provide evidence-based insight into reconciliation effectiveness and control health
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address findings and continuously improve financial assurance outcomes
- Lead coach and develop a customer-focused team supporting capability uplift succession planning and continuous improvement
What Youll Bring
- CA or CPA qualification with 710 years experience in financial accounting reporting or advisory roles within complex organisations
- Proven experience leading reconciliation accounting control or financial assurance activities in a regulated or financial services environment
- Strong analytics capability including hands-on experience with SQL-based tools and data validation across large complex datasets
- Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau to communicate clear actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change build trusted stakeholder relationships and manage competing priorities with clarity
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience applying automation analytics or emerging technologies to strengthen financial control
