Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery (LDRP)
Location - Neptune NJ
Shift: Night Shift 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with comprehensive patient care. This position practices within an LDRP (Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum) model and may be assigned to labor postpartum antepartum or nursery based on unit needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan implement and document nursing care based on patient needs
Identify patient priorities through assessment planning intervention and evaluation
Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments
Initiate assessments based on patient condition medical diagnosis and functional health framework
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
Manage comprehensive patient care across LDRP settings
Document care in accordance with standards of practice and patient acuity
Support evidence-based practice and innovation in care delivery
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models
Perform other duties as assigned
