Maintenance Assistant-Casual
Reportingto the Maintenance Supervisor The MaintenanceAssistant is responsible for assisting with general maintenance duties at AVENS A Community for Seniors. This is a casual/on-call position covering for vacations and assisting with snow removal and lawn care. Dutieswill include general labour and repairs painting general landscapingequipment checks and preventative maintenance for our Aven Manor AvenCottages as well as our independent housing
Education and Experience Requirements
v Educationor training related to maintenance preference for plumbing mechanical andelectrical
v Abilityto lift up to 50 lbs
v Abilityto work outside for long periods of time and to work with limited supervision
v Mustbe able to obtain provide and maintain a satisfactory Vulnerable SectorCriminal Record Check

Pay and Benefits
SALARY: $26.70 per hour
PENSION PLAN: not eligible for casual positions
