Youll be in charge of developing our pre and post-opening sales strategy and ensuring that we create new and recurring business from various hotel verticals. Responsibilities
Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets designing marketing plan deliverables and developing an annual sales forecast
Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability
Create methods to help the sales team reach and surpass monthly room booking targets that are in line with the hotels overall revenue management goals
Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals corporations and members of your personal network
Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures
Qualifications
Extended stay and or hotel opening experience preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelors degree in a relevant field required
Displays a proven track record of sales success by lead-generation and closing
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Strong analytical skills communication skills and leadership skills
Must have valid drivers license.
