POSITION TITLE: Tutor High School studentHOURS: Up to 10 hours a week until April 2026 with possibility of extensionREPORTS TO: High School Principal and Director of Special Education PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Use appropriate grade-level general education materials to instruct students 2 .Use elements of effective grade-level instruction to ensure access to the general education curriculum. 3. Plan a program of study that to the extent possible meets the individual needs interests and abilities of students in all reading classes. Use informal and formal assessments to identify strengths and weaknesses. Set learning goals for students and monitor their progress.4. Have knowledge of and ability to use a wide range of assessment protocols and ability to understand implications of test results for student learning.5. Analyze data and make instructional determinations based on state and district data for reading classes and to support district efforts to improve student performance. 6. Interpret as appropriate test results and statistical data as needed by classroom teachers administrators and specialists.7. Submit weekly timesheetsPay rate: $38.25 hour based on Sutton Teachers Association Contract
