Who are the riverside vikings Summary:The middle school counselor supports students with their academic behavioral social and emotional needs as they progress through grades six to eight. The middle school counselor works as a leader and collaborator in the school with a team of teachers paraprofessionals administrators parents and district office staff with the purpose of providing equitable and quality educational services for each and every student. Where possible the counselor works to provide services that are preventative and proactive in nature to meet the diverse needs of students. The counselor is also an active participant in handling crisis situations that will arise within the school and at times the community.

Salary Range:

*In district experience salary range: $46087-$127734.60

*No in district experience salary range: $46087-$69135.60

Path 1-Alternative Licensure- If you have a bachelors degree we can enroll you in an online alternative licensure program that is low cost with high level training!License Cheat Sheet

Path 2- Long Term Substitute- Only requires a sub license and you would receive on the job training: Sub license

Path 3- Apprentice Teacher of Record- If you are interested in completing your bachelors degree and becoming a teacher the Colorado Department of Education is partnering with the Department of Labor to create a Teacher Apprentice Program.
