Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Outpatient Pharmacy Technician supportingFort Eisenhower Army Medical Center near AugustaGA.
Position Highlights:

Position Requirements:
- Graduate from a formal pharmacy technician program
- Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
- Minimum 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician within the past three years
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions refilling prescriptions and entering orders into databases.
- Provide new and refill prescriptions support patient requests support physicians requests monitor for drug interactions and report adverse drug reactions.
- Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection reviewing expired supplies and producing error and workload reports and documentation.
- Placing new orders stock shelves and provide inventory maintenance
