Job Profile Summary
ONEOK is seeking aCommercial Managerto lead natural gas gathering and processing commercial activities across the Permian Basin. This leadership role is responsible fordeveloping and executing on commercial strategies managing key producer relationships and leading a team of commercial professionalsfocused on business development project execution contract negotiations and financial performance. This position plays a critical role in driving growth leading crossfunctional teams and ensuring disciplined commercial execution while fostering strong internal and external partnerships.
This position will be based out of Tulsa OK.
This role is hybrid:
Office - Monday Tuesday and Thursday
Remote - Wednesday and Friday
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Researches new project potential within assigned regional area.
Performs complex financial analysis economic modeling and developing projections for potential expansion projects construction or new business deals. Develops project AFEs and presents to the appropriate level of senior management for approval.
Participates in strategy discussions and planning to develop strategic direction and focus for assigned area.
Performs oversight and review of ongoing projects within assigned area to ensure the work is being completed on time and within the scope of the AFE. If problems are identified provide recommendations to ensure projects are back on track or escalate to the appropriate level of senior management.
Responsible for employee development and evaluations establishing goals providing counseling and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Ensures employees are held accountable for performing job responsibilities.
Education
Bachelors Degree
Work Experience
10 years of energy related experience
Experience in and thorough knowledge of the energy sector and supply activities
Experience evaluating complex financial transactions
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software
Experience and training related to:
Contract negotiation and administration
Product supply scheduling and nominations
Marketing of energy products
Interpersonal communication skills
Experience reading and interpreting pricing reports supply data purchase transportation and storage contracts pipeline and rate tariffs market trends Request for Bids (RFB) state and federal orders and regulations financial information and company policies and procedures
Experience researching and preparing correspondence budgets imbalance calculations confirmation reports allocation reports hedging reports companys response to regulatory requests RFB documents and educational material
Experience interacting advising and communicating effectively
Experience leading directing training and/or supervising
Experience preparing information conducting meetings and making presentations
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
