Compensation: $75000$90000 Base Salary Commission $400/month Car Allowance

Mission

To expand direct utility relationships across the Northeast by building trust with engineering operations and procurement leadersensuring safe reliable pressure regulation solutions that support the delivery of gas infrastructure to communities.

This role exists to transition key accounts from distributor-led engagement to direct manufacturer partnership. The objective is not transactional sales. It is long-term relationship development grounded in credibility technical understanding and consistent follow-through.


Commanders Intent

Build a high-trust presence across Northeast utilities by:

  • Establishing direct relationships with decision-makers

  • Positioning as a reliable technically credible partner

  • Identifying competitive opportunities and converting them through disciplined follow-up

  • Representing the company at trade associations field visits and industry events

  • Creating a sustainable regional growth engine


612 Month Performance Objectives

  1. Develop Direct Utility Relationships
    Establish active relationships with target utilities (e.g. Eversource PSE&G PECO and other regional operators) across engineering operations and procurement functions.

  2. Build and Maintain a Regional Pipeline
    Create and manage a structured CRM-based pipeline of opportunities across the territory including distributor and integrator relationships.

  3. Execute a Strategic Territory Plan
    Identify high-value targets competitive accounts and association involvement opportunities. Develop a battle map for regional penetration.

  4. Increase Direct Sales Penetration
    Support the transition from distributor reliance to direct engagement in service regulator product lines.

  5. Represent the Brand in the Field
    Attend trade shows join relevant regional associations conduct field visits and deliver technical product training when appropriate.

  6. Competitive Positioning & Intelligence
    Monitor competitor activity pricing trends and market shifts to strengthen positioning strategy.

Requirements

Ideal Profile

Experience & Background

  • Must have served in the U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.

  • B2B industrial sales experience (utilities gas distribution pressure regulation or related technical products preferred)

  • Experience calling on engineering operations and procurement leaders

  • Familiarity with utility infrastructure environments is highly valued

  • CRM proficiency required
