Summary Section

As part of the electrical engineering team you will be involved in the design of electrical systems for the oil and gas and/or power including renewable energies industries. This may be a conceptual study or front-end engineering design (FEED) or a design execution involving the procurement of all equipment and detailed drawings for the construction and commissioning of an entire facility.

Responsibilities:

Able to read understand and implement client specifications / local / international standards
Have good knowledge of electrical equipment like MV/LV Switchgears transformers UPS etc.
Able to prepare technical specifications and datasheets for electrical items with minimum supervision.
Have good understanding of various electrical layouts and shall be able to guide and check work performed by designers
Able to understand overall power distribution scheme and SLDs
Able to prepare load list load calculations cable sizing earthing and lighting calculations including preparation of cable schedules and interconnection diagrams
Be aware of and implement relevant HSE aspects while performing assigned tasks
Working experience in ETAP / SPEL will be an added advantage
Have good written and oral communication skills
Able to work in multi-cultural environment

Qualifications including Required Education Experience & Skills:

Shall have a Bachelors Degree (Full Time) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
5 - 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas / industrial projects
