Risk Consulting Senior (Process Mining)
As part of our Digital Risk (DR) team within Risk Consulting we are seeking a Senior Consultant with strong business understanding analytical capability and handson experience in process mining and data analytics to join the DR team and work with our clients on some of the most prestigious projects catering to various sectors across the MENA region. The opportunity
As a Senior you will engage with clients to strengthen their digital risk posture by bridging business requirements with technical capabilities. You will work on engagements across advanced analytics data visualization automation data governance process mining AI governance etc. ensuring solutions are aligned with organizational objectives regulatory expectations and leading practices.
You will work with multidisciplinary teams across data tech and business functions to design assess and implement analyticsenabled risk processes and governance structures. You will also help clients operationalize ethical and trustworthy AI practices by supporting usecase reviews governance workflows and technical assessments.
This position will be based out of our offices (Kochi/ Thiruvananthapuram) in the state of Kerala.
Your key responsibilities
- Design develop and deploy process mining dashboards using platforms such as Celonis and Power BI to analyze and optimize processes.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on core business processes identifying bottlenecks root causes and improvement opportunities.
- Develop root-cause-driven insights and actionable recommendations to improve efficiency quality and compliance.
- Build scalable SQL and Python-based data models to support analytics reporting and process mining use cases.
- Work with SQL Python and R-Studio to perform advanced data analysis and automation.
- Evaluate endtoend data flows from data capture to transformation to reporting to ensure accuracy completeness and suitability for decisionmaking.
- Assess data quality by defining and testing rules around validity consistency lineage and reconciliation across systems and processes.
- Apply structured problemsolving to assess business and technology risks develop hypotheses validate findings and present clear recommendations.
- Review AI/ML use cases to identify governance ethical and operational risks ensuring compliance with emerging AI risk and control frameworks.
- Facilitate workshops with business risk technology and compliance teams to elicit requirements
- Translate technical findings into simple practical recommendations for business risk and technology stakeholders.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure quality delivery timely execution and alignment with client objectives.
- Assist in identifying opportunities where clients can use data analytics and automation to strengthen controls and improve performance.
- Develop strong working relationships with the client and onshore client teams.
- Coach junior team members enabling them to meet their performance goals and successfully grow their careers.
Skills and attributes for success
- Hands-on experience with:
- Process Mining & BI Tools: Celonis
- Programming & Analytics: Python SQL PQL R
- Dashboarding: Power BI Tableau Qlik
- Knowledge of Data/ERP platforms like SAP Oracle Azure AWS GCP
- Analytics Techniques: machine learning statistical analysis
- Solid foundation in data handling including understanding how data flows is transformed and used for decisionmaking.
- Hands-on experience with MIS reporting and dashboarding with the ability to assess the quality accuracy and completeness of data used in reports and analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex systems and identify risks.
- Work experience in similar industry (Big 4 preferred).
- Good to have experience in Risk Management or other Risk Consulting engagements.
- The job would require travel (Over 50%) to client locations in Middle East and North Africa such as Dubai Kuwait Riyadh Doha etc.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of experience in analytics process mining consulting or process improvement roles.
- Experience working with Big4 is a strong advantage.
- A valid passport for travel.
Preferably you may also have
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP) and data platform components.
- Experience / Exposure to Responsible AI frameworks AI ethics standards or global regulatory guidelines.
