It provides broad HR generalist support across the full employee lifecycle with a strong focus on partnering with healthcare clients primarily medical practices and small businesses based throughout Australia. You will help healthcare clients achieve strong business outcomes across key areas such as compliance recruitment performance management remuneration culture workforce planning learning and development organisation design employee relations and mediation. You will also support strategic initiatives and contribute to the design and continuous improvement of Avant Business Solutions HR Advisory services ensuring processes are safe sustainable and this role you will help foster a positive collaborative and continuously improving culture while delivering practical HR solutions tailored to the needs of healthcare and small business AccountabilitiesHR AdvisorySupport organisational reviews and provide guidance to managers across diverse client groupsReview HR policies and procedures for Fair Work complianceConduct HR gap analysesProvide recruitment support including job ads position descriptions and onboardingAdvise on performance management and conduct workplace investigationsProvide wages and award interpretationManage offboarding and terminationsSupport restructures and redeployment processesDevelop L&D resourcesPromote and grow HR Advisory servicesParticipate in scoping calls with potential clientsBuild relationships to support the growth of Avant Business ServicesWork closely with the broader business services team to provide general HR adviceContribute to a respectful collaborative culture and promote continuous improvementContinuous Quality Improvement & Risk ManagementMaintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and compliance requirementsParticipate in quality improvement initiativesEnsure confidentiality and privacy at all timesWorkplace Health & SafetyEnsure safe work practices and compliance with all relevant WHS legislation and internal policiesGeneralActively contribute to the growth of HR ServicesSupport and promote Avant Business ServicesPreferred Capabilities (Qualifications Experience & Skills)Minimum 7 years generalist HR experienceExperience in HR within healthcare (preferred)Tertiary qualifications in HRStrong communication skills written and verbalAbility to collaborate influence and build relationshipsHigh attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesProfessional discreet and able to maintain confidentialityConfident communicating across all levels of an organisationResilient proactive and solutions-focusedAbility to work independently with a strategic mindsetCommitment to ongoing professional developmentStrong customer service focusExperience managing performance issues and grievancesProficient with Microsoft OfficeEffective problem-solving planning and organisational skillsExperience in facilitation and change managementStrong work ethic and ability to provide constructive feedbackAbility to contribute to the development of HR processes and servicesIf this role sounds like the one you have been looking for and you are ready to hit the ground running please apply now.
