About the role:

Youll lead strategic highprofile communications for the Illegal Waste Dumping Taskforce shaping how EPA engages with communities industry and government on a high-profile regulatory issue. This is a senior generalist role where youll design and deliver creative multichannel communications to deter illegal dumping and drive behaviour change across Victoria.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the development delivery and evaluation of the Taskforces strategic communications approach.
  • Identify and drive proactive media and communications opportunities working closely with EPAs media team.
  • Develop highquality external communications including campaign materials messaging and content across channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with taskforce partners including councils industry and government stakeholders.
  • Provide seniorlevel strategic communications advice across EPA supporting highprofile work.

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience delivering seniorlevel strategic communications in a complex or government environment.
  • Strong external communications focus with experience working across multiple channels and audiences.
  • Experience managing highprofile sensitive communications including media engagement.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear compelling content for diverse audiences including ministerial materials.
  • Creative and strategic thinker able to develop fresh approaches to influence behaviour change and deliver impact.
