About the role:

Youll lead strategic highprofile communications for the Illegal Waste Dumping Taskforce shaping how EPA engages with communities industry and government on a high-profile regulatory issue. This is a senior generalist role where youll design and deliver creative multichannel communications to deter illegal dumping and drive behaviour change across Victoria.

In this role you will:

Lead the development delivery and evaluation of the Taskforces strategic communications approach.
Identify and drive proactive media and communications opportunities working closely with EPAs media team.
Develop highquality external communications including campaign materials messaging and content across channels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with taskforce partners including councils industry and government stakeholders.
Provide seniorlevel strategic communications advice across EPA supporting highprofile work.

Skills and experience:

Proven experience delivering seniorlevel strategic communications in a complex or government environment.
Strong external communications focus with experience working across multiple channels and audiences.
Experience managing highprofile sensitive communications including media engagement.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear compelling content for diverse audiences including ministerial materials.
Creative and strategic thinker able to develop fresh approaches to influence behaviour change and deliver impact.
