Job Description

ROLE- Installation Engineer

LOCATION- Southwest (lots of the work will be based around Devon/Cornwall area)

TERM- Permanent

SALARYdependent on experience

My client designs and manufactures products and systems within the Renewable Energy sector. They are looking for an Installation Engineer to join their team in Cornwall on a permanent basis.

The Installation Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

At least 2 years relevant experience in a similar field-based Installation Servicing or Commissioning role
Experience working in construction renewables or with related equipment
Hands-on experience with maintenance installation commissioning servicing and repair
Strong experience with assembly and build
Great communication and customer service skills
Team player who is passionate about their work
Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
Happy to travel on a field basis and work alone
Holds a full UK driving licence

The Installation Engineer role will involve:

Travelling to customer sites across the UK to service maintain and install equipment
Testing and repairing equipment to be dispatched
Training customers on how to use their equipment
Developing strong relationships with customers
Working in a small multi-disciplinary team
