The Role
As Art Technician you will provide essential practical and administrative support to the Art Department ensuring that lessons run smoothly and resources are prepared to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing materials and equipment for practical art lessons
Supporting teachers during practical sessions
Maintaining and organising art supplies and storage areas
Assisting with mounting and displaying student work
Ensuring safe handling and storage of materials and equipment
Supporting exhibitions and department events
You will play a vital role in helping students access high-quality creative experiences.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience in an art creative or school-based environment
Knowledge of various art materials and techniques
Strong organisational skills
Ability to manage stock and maintain equipment
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
