As a Global Finance Center Director (Controller Region/Division) here at Honeywell you will hold an influential and strategic leadership position within our finance team. Your role will encompass overseeing and driving the multiple finance functions for the designated region or division at a senior level ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting compliance with accounting policies and regulations and driving the financial close processes.
You will report directly to our Global Operations Leader and youll work out of our Bangalore India location
In this role you will impact our organization by transforming our finance operations improving financial reporting accuracy and timeliness enhancing data analytics capabilities and driving operational efficiencies. Your dynamic leadership and transformation-first approach will be crucial in delivering business-focused solutions across various finance verticals including audit support SOX compliance and month-end close management for Global Centers of Excellence (COEs) and regional operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance Hub Leadership and Strategic Oversight: As Director of the Global Finance Center you will be responsible for leading and deploying the Honeywell finance hub strategy and model for entities transitioning to a common platform. This includes ensuring alignment with the targeted operating model and engaging key stakeholders throughout the process.
Global Capabilities and Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will manage and develop a team of finance professionals providing mentorship and support for their professional growth. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams you will drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations to enable global capabilities.
Controllership and Regional Oversight: You will lead and oversee the controllership function for your designated region or division at a senior level. You will also provide governance performance oversight and integration across other finance functions ensuring alignment to the operating model while functional execution remains aligned to respective global leads.
Financial Reporting and Compliance: Your role entails ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting fully compliant with accounting policies and regulations. You will guarantee that accounts are recorded and reported on time with quality and in full compliance with US GAAP. This includes timely submission of domestic and international tax packs as well as quarterly supplemental US GAAP reporting and workbooks for all entities in the country or region.
Financial Close and Audit Support: You will drive the financial close processes ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements. Providing audit support and maintaining SOX compliance will be key by reviewing high-risk account reconciliations leading Balance Sheet Reviews and promptly addressing control risks.
Internal Controls and Audit Coordination: Ensuring compliance with internal controls across all finance operations will be your responsibility. You will manage deliverables with external statutory and tax auditors coordinating and supporting all internal and external audit activities.
Support for Mergers Acquisitions and Divestitures: You will support in-country leadership with activities related to mergers acquisitions spin-offs divestitures due diligence and integration planning.
Analytics and Transformation: Enhancing analytics capabilities within the finance function will be crucial to support data-driven decision-making. You will oversee and ensure the successful deployment of transition and transformation projects in the Global Finance Center.
Management Operating System Implementation: You will implement and manage the Management Operating System (MOS) to ensure effective governance with stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Development: Your responsibilities include overseeing annual evaluations providing coaching and mentoring to team members managing career development planning rewards and recognition and collaborating with business partners to address complex accounting matters.
Employee Engagement: Leading Voice of the Employee (VOE) programs will be integral to boosting team engagement and performance.
