Payoneer is looking for a Finance Controller to join our extremely fast-growing global Fintech business in India. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced multi-tasking and high-energy environment.
The position will report to the Chief Executive Officer of the Payoneer entity in India.

Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Controller you will:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements for regulated operations (under PA-CB license by the RBI) including but not limited to;
- Carrying out cash management controls by working with relevant finance/Treasury teams to prepare daily reports updating the cash management file and sending confirmation at the end of each day.
- Familiarise with finance-related regulatory requirements keeping controls policies and procedures up to date in accordance with regulatory changes including interpreting and recommending GST treatment through working with Tax Legal and Compliance teams.
- Prepare and/or assist with regulatory reporting in India reconciling opening-closing balances and transactions and exchange rates ensuring reports are submitted to regulators in a timely manner
- Work with relevant teams to design and implement fund flows to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including ensuring that money transmissions are completed within the timeline as required by the regulations and that books/records are updated.
- As the financial responsible person for Payoneers licensed entity in India to liaise with authorities related to statutory financial reporting tax and matters related to it.
- Ensure timely submission of forms and periodical reports to authorities
- Execute internal control over financial reporting activities and maintain appropriate documentation
- Support accounting and financial review of the full GL of Payoneer Indias Payment Aggregator Cross Border (PA-CB) licensed entity as prepared by the local accounting outsourced vendor
- Support global teams to form statutory budgets and project cash flows for license requirements
- Support audits of local annual financial statements partnering with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
Skills Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree (post-graduate degree a plus) with a minimum of 8 years of proven working experience in finance/accounting
- Minimum of 2 years experience in regulatory reporting financial compliance or finance regulation within the fintech or financial services sector
- Experience in financial technology banking and/or financial institution an added advantage
- Entrepreneurial drive strong business mindset and able to work with minimal guidance
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in written and spoken English capable of working closely with various members of management and operational teams across the organisation and the globe
