What youll be doing in this role

In this role you will be responsible for undertaking high quality accurate and timely clinical coding of health care records in accordance with the Australian Coding standards (ICD-10-AM 13^th Edition).

You will be a valued member of this highly experienced team who work collaboratively with clinicians and other health professionals seeking further clarification of clinical information to ensure the highest standard in clinical coding.

We offer flexible working options including the ability to work some days from home each week and we can accommodate Full Time Part Time or Casual employment.

You will use our own customised Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system that is user friendly and easy to navigate.

Who were looking for

• Youll have completed a recognised clinical coding qualification through HIMAA OTEN or Health Information Management (HIM) Degree.
• Youll have current proven ICD-10AM coding experience with a minimum of 3 years coding in a tertiary level hospital.
• Youll have demonstrated experience using Solventum Codefinder.
• Youll have education and experience in Australian Coding Standards (ICD 10 AM - 13th edition).
• Youll have the proven ability to prioritise workload to achieve key performance indicators and meet deadlines.
• Youll have excellent communication skills (both written & oral) with proven experience interacting with clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Youll have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
