Job Summary
This is a hybrid role with an average onsite expectation of approximately two days per week. Onsite presence may fluctuate based on project work team collaboration needs and business priorities.

Job Summary
Drives projects throughout the organization including both clinical and non-clinical areas to accomplish measurable quality improvement. Work assignments are typically more complex involving multi-disciplinary teams. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing processes and drives sustainable repeatable and quantifiable quality improvement. Collects and analyzes process and/or quality data to initiate develop andinfluence operational practices and procedures that focus on enhanced quality outcomes. Facilitates large improvement projects in coordination with leaders and providers to drive continuous improvement. Flexible in adapting to changing priorities. Mentors colleagues in improvement science application across the strategic quality goal setting to influence strategic priorities.
Essential Functions
Supports and drives improvement activities for accountable areas based on organizational priorities (project management measurable deliverables milestones and data informed strategy).
Serves as a liaison between various departments across the Corewell Health System. Communicates collaborates networks with and acts as a change agent to key stakeholders. Also ensures continuity and coordination of services with appropriate utilization of resources. Responsible for stakeholder management across collaboration within dept and organizational resources.
Drives continuous assessment and improvements using appropriate tools and methodology within the business assists stakeholders and process owners in prioritizing improvement opportunities.
Proficient application of improvement sciences to drive quality performance in regulatory accreditation and publicly-reported programs.
Analyze interpret and communicate benchmarked quality data and trends to identify opportunities and improve outcomes.
Mentor and share quality improvement knowledge and skills across the organization.
Drive strategic quality goal setting to influence strategic priorities.
Support compliance of accreditation/TJC for quality chapters.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a healthcare related field
5 years of experience in Quality improvement performance improvement project management or related field
Preferred
Masters Degree in a healthcare related field
2 years of experience with participation on improvement initiatives
At least one Certification from preferred list - Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) IHI Open School
IHI Improvement Coach Program
Professional in Healthcare Quality Certified (CPHQ) - NAHQ National Association for Healthcare Quality Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
