We are excited to extend the British Swim School presence in the Buffalo Grove area
Start date: April 2026.
Required training (paid for): 40 hours of online training in-person (hours & travel paid for).
Initially part-time (25 hours) hourly to start the position has potential for conversion to full-time with growth

The Position:
The Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is an important role in the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards.

Typical Responsibilities:

Responsible for day-to-day in-the-pool operations of the aquatic program
Train & manage swim instructors to maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics and service operations.
Teach and lead swimming lessons as needed.
Assist with interviewing hiring & onboarding swim instructors.
Creation of employee schedules and pool lesson schedules.
Track required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employees development and competency and skills.
Manage customer interactions as needed
Address and document employee customer and pool incidents that occur.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 years of customer service and/or management experience.
Experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management is preferred. A specialist aquatics qualification is desirable but not required.
Lifeguard CPR First Aid Certifications may be obtained during training.

Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. Its helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job but its not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team even if youre not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the these roles you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool.
