What the Role Involves:

As a Non-Mechanical Field Technician youll be responsible for working in diverse settings within the construction industry and will produce steady functional infrastructure and products. Beginning-to-end installation of primary carpentry projects that have specific deliverables focuses timelines and quality performance objectives. We are looking for this individual to bring knowledge of commercial construction and an understanding of electrical and/or refrigeration would be a plus!

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of rough-to-finish carpentry and/or construction experience
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office software
• 2 years operating tools machines and other equipment
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred

The Ideal Candidate:

• Understand the scope of the project and assist with the creation of PEP (project execution plan) to ensure successful project completion
• Read blueprints and ensure the work performed is up to code and specifications/standards
• Measure and calculate the amount of materials needed as well as the selection of materials ie wood plastic and drywall
• Construct partitions and structures such as walls frames cabinets molding etc
• Review the schedule with the supervisor and others that will be affected by project activity revise the schedule as needed
• Maintain schedule timelines track/submit job-related documents and expenses
• Understand the importance of the organizations reputation and accepting ownership of new/different requests that had value to job completion

• Ability to stand climb pull and lift heavy objects
• Technical construction education program desired
• Basic electrical and refrigeration experience is a plus
• Understand and follow safety protocols
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
